Pantogar is a dietary supplement that is used to treat hair and nails, being indicated in situations such as: frequent hair loss; fragile, fine or brittle hair, preventing hair from weakening and; It is also used in the case of weak, brittle or cracked nails. 

This supplement has in its composition some important nutrients such as calcium, cystine, keratin and brewer’s yeast, which provide B complex vitamins, important nutrients to maintain healthy hair and strong nails. Pantogar can be bought in some pharmacies or online. 

What is it for

The Pantogar is indicated in cases of diffuse alopecia, hair loss and degenerative changes in the capillary structure, that is, it can be used on damaged, lifeless, brittle, dull, colorless, sunburned or sunburned hair. performing hair straightening treatments and excessive use of the iron, hair dryer or dye. 

In addition to this, it is also used in the treatment of weak, brittle and cracked nails. 

Dosage to take

The Pantogar should be used under the guidance of a dermatologist.

The dose that is usually recommended in adults is 1 capsule, 3 times a day for 3 to 6 months of treatment, if necessary, the treatment can be continued or repeated. They should be ingested with food and 1 glass of water.

In the case of adolescents over 12 years of age, the ingestion of 1 or 2 capsules per day is recommended. 

Possible side effects 

Pantogar is generally well tolerated, however some side effects may arise such as: increased amount of sweating, rapid heartbeat, allergic skin reactions such as itching or hives and gastrointestinal discomfort, such as a burning sensation in the stomach, nausea , gas, diarrhea and abdominal pain. 

Contraindications

This supplement is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age and in people with an allergy to any of the components of the formula.

Likewise, people taking sulphonamide medicines, pregnant women, women who are breastfeeding or have a health problem, should talk to their doctor before starting treatment with Pantogar. 

This supplement is not indicated in people with scarring alopecia and male pattern baldness.

No. This supplement only provides all the necessary nutrients to combat hair loss, facilitating healthy growth. However, it is necessary to wait for the treatment time to elapse because the hair grows about 1.5 cm per month.

2. Does Pantogar promote weight gain?

No. This supplement is not related to weight gain because it does not contain calories and does not have fluid retention as a side effect.

3. Can only women use Pantogar?

No. Men can also use it, however, this supplement is not effective against male pattern baldness, but it may be indicated if the hair is weak, brittle or damaged due to the use of chemicals. 

4. How long does it take to take effect?

The use of Pantogar should take effect between 3 to 6 months, being that from the second month it is possible to notice the growth in the hair root. In 6 months of treatment, an approximate growth of 8 cm is expected.   

5. What happens if you take more pantogar capsules than you should?

If the dose of Pantogar is exceeded, hyperavitaminosis could occur, that is, an excess of vitamins in the body, which disappears when the drug is suspended.
